Bedlam is a group of West Australian retail homewares stores that emerged from the disintegration of a national chain of franchised bedlinen stores late in 2008. We are situated in the inner suburbs of metropolitan Perth.
The name was inspired by the circumstances of its founding at a time when retail was in a severe downturn brought on by the global financial crisis. Regardless, we were a bunch of owner/operators who had invested blood, sweat and tears in our businesses and we were determined to re-launch ourselves with our own brand and, more importantly, with an enhanced concern to provide our customers with the best product at the best price. Being no longer part of a national franchise gave us the opportunity to do just this.
We think of ourselves as a 'full service' retailer, which means that you will always be offered assistance, as well as a greeting, whenever you enter a Bedlam store. That is a lot harder to do if you are an internet shopper but we have provided contact details for all of our stores so, if you can, make a call. If we cannot help you there and then, we will call you back at a convenient time.
In addition to striving to offer the best of service, please be aware that you will never pay a price premium for being a Bedlam shopper. We are very focused on giving our customers the 'best of deals', and if something gets past us we will always price match.
SHIPPING POLICY
Freight charges will vary depending on size and destination of items ordered. We will give you an accurate freight cost BEFORE we process your order.Goods will be dispatched within 4 working days if in stock. We will notify you if an item is out of stock to give you a delivery time. For more information about our delivery procedures and order policy please contact us.
RETURNS POLICY
We want you to be satisfied every time you shop with us. Our 'no quibbles' guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with the goods purchased you may cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days from receipt of the goods; you will receive a refund within 30 days of cancellation. It is your responsibility to take care of the goods before returning them, and they must be returned in a state where they can be resold. We will not accept return of: Fresh / disposable / perishable goods (e.g. flowers or fresh foods)Sealed audio / video recordings or computer software which have been opened. Goods made to the customer's personal specifications. We will provide returns information in with the delivery note/invoice. Where you wish to return goods and do not have returns information, you can contact us for this information. Whichever way, it is vital that you enclose a covering letter with the return detailing your name, full address, order number and reason for return (please also specify whether you require an exchange or refund). We recommend that you use Recorded Delivery, as proof of shipping is not proof of receipt.
